US Market Certifications

FCC (Federal Communications Commission)

Required for: Any electronic device that emits radio frequency energy — WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular, or even unintentional emissions from digital circuits.

FDA (Food and Drug Administration)

Required for: Food contact materials, medical devices, cosmetics, supplements, and some electronic devices that make health claims.

UL (Underwriters Laboratories)

Required for: Electrical products. Not legally mandatory in most cases, but major retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Target) require UL listing.
