Our Sourcing Method
A transparent, structured 7-step method from your initial inquiry to product delivery. QC scope, certification support, and timelines depend on product type, order size, and project risk level.
Inquiry & Requirements
Share your product specifications, target price, quantity, and timeline. The more detail you provide, the better we can match you with the right factories.
Timeline: 1–2 business days to review and respond.
Supplier Matching
We identify 3–5 qualified factories from our vetted supplier network. Each factory is assessed for production capability, capacity, certifications, and pricing.
Timeline: 3–7 business days.
Sampling & Validation
Selected factories produce samples for your evaluation. We inspect samples at the factory before shipping them to you — checking dimensions, materials, functionality, and finish quality.
Timeline: 7–15 days for sample production + shipping.
Order Placement
Once you approve a sample, we finalize pricing, payment terms (typically 30% deposit / 70% before shipment), and the production timeline. We draft a detailed purchase agreement.
Timeline: 1–3 business days to finalize.
Production Monitoring
During production, we visit the factory at key milestones to verify progress, material quality, and adherence to your specifications. You receive regular photo and video updates.
Timeline: 15–45 days depending on product complexity and quantity.
Quality Control
Before shipment, we may conduct pre-shipment inspection at the factory. This can include functionality testing, appearance checks, packaging verification, and review of basic compliance documents — where appropriate and based on order size and risk level. Sampling plans such as AQL may be applied when agreed in project scope.
Timeline: 1–2 days for inspection, report delivered within 24 hours.
Shipping & Delivery
We coordinate the best shipping method for your needs — sea freight, air freight, or express courier. We handle export documentation, customs paperwork, and track your shipment to destination.
Timeline: Sea freight 14–30 days, air freight 5–8 days, express 3–5 days.
Supplier Vetting Criteria
Before recommending a factory path, MING may assess suppliers against the following — depending on product category and project scope:
Product category fit
Does the factory regularly produce similar products and understand the relevant components?
Manufacturing capability
Equipment, capacity, and engineering support aligned to your SKU complexity.
Export experience
Track record shipping to your target markets with acceptable documentation practices.
Quality control process
In-process checks, test equipment, and willingness to support third-party inspection where needed.
Communication quality
Responsiveness, clarity on specs, and realistic timeline estimates.
Sample responsiveness
Ability to produce representative samples before production commitments.
Compliance readiness
Willingness to support certification testing, labeling, and documentation — scope varies by product type and destination market.
QC Checklist Example
Example inspection areas we may include in a pre-shipment checklist — not every item applies to every SKU:
- • Appearance — finish, color consistency, scratches
- • Function — core features, battery/charging, connectivity
- • Packaging — retail box integrity, insert fit, barcodes
- • Labeling — ratings, warnings, SKU labels
- • Accessories — cables, manuals, spare parts completeness
- • Manual — language, safety instructions where required
- • Carton marks — shipping labels, quantity, fragile handling
- • Basic safety / compliance documents — as agreed in scope
