Shenzhen is where you go for anything electronic, especially innovative and AI-powered products. The Huaqiangbei electronics market is the world's largest, and the city has an unmatched ecosystem for rapid prototyping and electronics manufacturing.

Tips for Sourcing in Guangdong
- Match the city to your product. Don't source lighting in Shenzhen or AI hardware in Zhongshan — you'll pay more and get less expertise.
- Visit the Canton Fair. Held twice yearly in Guangzhou, it's the world's largest trade fair. Great for discovering new suppliers across all Guangdong specializations.
- Use a local agent. A sourcing agent based in the PRD can visit multiple cities and factories efficiently, saving you time and travel costs.
- Consider logistics. All PRD cities have good access to Shenzhen and Guangzhou ports. Yantian (Shenzhen) and Nansha (Guangzhou) are the main container ports.
